Peter Miller Foundation supporters believe, as Peter did, that all of Hawaii's youth should have the opportunity to participate in ocean sports, regardless of their families' financial means.

Peter Miller loved surfing, and loved being a mentor to local youths, and he was well known for and excelled at both. He often gave his time, and even his own surfboards to kids, and inspired in them confidence, as well as a love for the sport of surfing. It is the mission of The Peter Miller Foundation to carry on Peter Miller's legacy.

The Peter Miller Foundation will support underprivileged young people who yearn for a chance to participate in surfing or other ocean sports, by subsidising necessary equipment, prerequisite fees, transportation to competitions or other direct costs that are a barrier for them to participate.

About the Foundation

Formed in 2006, The Peter Miller Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Kailua (Oahu), Hawaii, which accepts tax-deductible donations. Disbursement of funds, and acceptance of corporate sponsorship, is determined by the Board of Directors.
